Pakistan and Mexico have initialled a draft convention for avoidance of double taxation, according to a statement issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday.
The statement said that consensus in this regard was reached during the second round of negotiations which were held here for five days.
The two sides expressed hope that besides providing safeguards against double taxation on the income of residents of the two states, the agreement would also give a boost to economic cooperation, trade and investment.
