Urwa Hocane hits back at Swara Bhaskar for calling Pakistan 'a failing state'
In a series of Twitter posts, the Rangreza actor Rasheed wrote how he had no knowledge of who Bhaskar was till he came across her now infamous interview with critic Rajeev Masand. He went on to add that her comments were typical of someone with an "old-school mentality".
#SwaraBhasker prior to your recent interview I've never heard your name or known of your existence in #Bollywood. Hence this is when I found out about you, and your change of opinion on #Pakistan.

My first reaction was, what a “typical old school mentality”, (1/10)
Rasheed said Bhaskar's comments appeared to be a publicity-garnering exercise aimed at outshining her Veere Di Vedding co-stars Kareena and Sonam Kapoor.
Obviously in order to stand out in front of your talented and well spoken co actors #KareenaKapoor & #SonamKapoor you'ld resort to a controversial statement to get the limelight. There seemed to be no better way for you, than talking about #Pakistan with hatred, (2/10)

The Yalghaar actor went to term the starlet an attention-seeker delivering statements reflecting "her negative mantra in making a name for herself".
This reflects your negative mantra in making some name for your self, also why I've never heard of you before, 🤔(3/10) #VeereDiWedding #SwaraBhasker #AttentionSeeker

Rapping Bhaskar for terming Pakistan being a "failing state" and not commanding much influence in the film trade, Gohar wrote, "Let me tell you that Pakistan is the fifth largest market for Bollywood films. It's the Pakistani fans and authorities that can determine the fate and worth of an Indian film at the global box office."
In your interview you said “#Pakistan is a failing state, I don’t understand why we keep taking pleasure and feeling sense of self worth from all the things that happens in #Pakistan”. Let me inform you that #Pakistan is the 5th largest market for Bollywood films, (4/10)

Perception of Pakistan different from reality: Swara Bhaskar
"It's odd that vocabulary is the one aspect of Pakistan you seem to have taken a keen interest in. I suppose others would look into the literary advancements but clearly abusive language is your sphere of interest," Rasheed posited in a stinging riposte to the starlets claim on how Pakistani's had a "worse vocabulary than Indians".
So I hope that will knock some sense in your head, (6/10) #VeereDiWedding #SwaraBhaskar #AttentionSeeker

The Digest Writer actor added that the manner in which Pakistanis gave others respect, spread peace and extend knowledge to "ignorant attention seekers" was representative of the nation's intellectual standing. "There is no power on earth that can undo Pakistan," he quoted to conclude in the famous words of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
And let me conclude with the quote from my beloved #QuaideAzam #MohammadAliJinnah “THERE IS NO POWER ON EARTH THAT CAN UNDO PAKISTAN 🇵🇰 “ (10/10) #ProudPakistani #SwaraBhaskar #KHUSHRAHO
