The new government in Uzbekistan had reduced power tariff and offered many other incentives to investors that could benefit Pakistan’s businessmen as well, they said, adding Pakistan could make efforts to start production of Uzbek agriculture machinery in Punjab and both countries could also work on establishing transport corridors. Uzbekistan was making equipment, which was equivalent to the European machinery, but it was cheaper, said diplomats Jasur Saidahmedov and Shukhrat Sh Zaripov.
