Curriculum update: Children, an asset for a bright future

The Minister for Education spoke during his visit to Islamabad Model School for Girls

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Education and Professional Training Engr. Muhammad Balighur Rehman on Thursday said that children are the biggest asset of our country and investment in children is very important to ensure that our country has a bright future. The Minister stated this during his visit to Islamabad Model School for Girls, to assess the teaching of the Holy Quran and new textbooks in the school curriculum. While talking to students, he advised them to always respect their teachers and work hard to succeed in life. He also visited all the classrooms one by one and discussed the new textbooks in the curriculum with the students, as well as teachers. Both teachers and students said that topics in the new books are very easy to comprehend and comprise of several projects and activities which enhance concept learning.
