PESHAWAR: Active participation of academia can help policymakers and governments devise policies for a better tomorrow. This was urged by Speakers during a seminar on “Key challenges of Pakistan Economy” arranged by the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences) Peshawar on Thursday. University of Peshawar, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Chair Dr Waseem Shahid Malik, Planning Commission Poverty Alleviation Section Head Zafarul Hassan and Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services Finance Director Haidar Abbas oriented the students of Bachelors of Studies (BS) Economics and Master of Studies (MS) Economics about the constitutional and structural framework of federal budget, along with key challenges to the economy.
