Several injured in road crashes
Car collides with a motorcycle on GT Road in Wazirabad area
GUJRANWALA:
Several people, including children suffered injuries in different road crashes in Gujranwala during the past 12 hours.
Police officials told Express News that a car collided with a motorcycle on GT Road in Wazirabad area resulting in injuries to six people, including five minor girls. They said three minor girls were referred to Gujaranwala in serious condition.
Kot Khizri resident Muhammad Asif, 36, was on his way back to home from Wazirabad with his five daughters on motorcycle when a speedy car hit them. As a result, Asif, Manahil, Meera, Hira, Sahil and Menal suffered critical injuries. The police said that the girls are aged between three to seven years. They received serious injuries on head and various parts of the body.
In another incident, 10 people, including children suffered critical injuries when a tractor trolley fell into a ditch due to speeding. The incident occurred near Chahal Kalan. Rescuers shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
