RAWALPINDI: City Traffic Police (CTP) on Tuesday launched grand anti-encroachment operation in Raja Bazaar and its adjoining areas and confiscated tables, stalls, handcarts and other goods of encroachers. This is a part of the CTP’s efforts to remove encroachments from the city roads altogether and facilitate the smooth flow of traffic. Officials are also taking strict action against parking violators for the same reason. On the special instruction of Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Bilal Iftikhar, an operation is being conducted in this regard in Raja Bazaar, Bara Bazaar, Trunk Bazaar and adjoining areas.
