Bugti, Gello say party will end ethnic hatred in province

QUETTA: Provincial ministers Sarfraz Bugti and Asim Kurd Gello have said that the Balochistan Awami Party will end ethnic hatred in the province and spread equality.

“BAP is the only political party which is inviting all people living in Balochistan to join it,” said Bugti and Gello while addressing a public gathering in Dasht on Sunday where District Council Chairman Takri Muhammad Afzal along with his supporters joined BAP.

“Fortunately hundreds of people are joining BAP as they believe in our manifesto and slogan for the development of Balochistan,” they said, vowing that their party would emerge as the most powerful political force during the next general election.

On BAP’s vision for Balochistan, the ministers said, “We have formed the party to struggle for the rights of the people of Balochistan. In the past we have seen decisions from Raiwind and Larkana being imposed on us but now people of Balochistan have awakened.”

They said that veteran political figures had joined BAP and they had decided to fight for Balochistan’s due rights.

Four dissident MNAs of PML-N join BAP

Dasht District Council Chairman Takri Muhammad Afzal said, “The National Party promised the people of our town of provision of basic facilities, but nothing can be seen on ground in five years.”

He described BAP as the only hope for Balochistan and said that the people of Dasht would fully support BAP in the upcoming elections.
