Upgraded Japanese language dept at NUML inaugurated

Japan had extended a grant of $83,064 to NUML under its Grant Assistance for the project

Japan will continue assisting education projects in Pakistan, said Japanese Ambassador Takashi Kurai on Monday.

“Developing educational facilities is one of the priorities of the government of Japan through its grant assistance,” Kurai said at the inauguration of the upgraded department of the Japanese language at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML).

Japan had extended a grant of $83,064 to NUML under its Grant Assistance for the project ‘Improvement of Learning Environment of Japanese Language Department at NUML,’ which Kurai inaugurated on Monday.

The Japanese grant was used to purchase IT equipment, teaching and learning materials, air-conditioning equipment, furniture and a computer server for distance learning education of Japanese language.

Capacity Building: Skills workshop ends at NUML

Ambassador Kurai commended the efforts of NUML on successful completion of the project. He said that assistance for the improvement of learning environment of Japanese language department is an example of Japan’s commitment towards improving educational facilities in Pakistan.
