According to the SHO, the security company's guard had objected to cars being parked in front of the company's office as it caused problems to clients who visited the office.

Fahad Memon, who claimed to be an eyewitness of the scene, reported that the guard was drunk and opened fire during the scuffle. The SHO, however, denied such reports, stating that the police did not find any evidence suggesting that the guard opened fire. The officer added that both, the guard and waiter, were being questioned.

No case was registered till the filing of this story.
