MIRPURKHAS: The Mirpurkhas Museum, the city’s only museum, remained closed even on the eve of World Museum Day on Tuesday.

The museum was sealed by the authorities roughly two year ago after the theft of an artifact, before it was even open for public viewing. Opened in 1974 by the District Cultural Association of Mirpurkhas, the museum houses precious historical artifacts belonging to the

Kalhora era including ancient guns, royal dresses, swords, daggers, coins and other relics.
