NEWS DESK: The Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on Wednesday ordered the formation of a judicial commission to probe the Army Public School (APS) attack.

Justice Nisar ordered the chief justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC) to form the commission and submit a report within two months.

The commission will include at least one judge from PHC.

The CJP on his previous visit took notice of how the case was still languishing in the courts and issued a notice to the provincial government.

The notice came as parents of Army Public School (APS) students staged a protest outside the court’s registry in Peshawar. They urged the top judge to provide them with justice.

CJP Nisar heeded their calls and demanded an update on the case.
