Did you know? Imran Abbas was offered a role in Katrina-Aditya's Fitoor

Speaking to The Express Tribune, Abbas revealed he will be playing a spy in the film who is from a Syrian-Morrocan descent. "I have many get-ups in the film and I will be seen in about six to seven disguises as I play the lead protagonist," shared the actor.

He added that filming will commence in July with longer shooting spells in October this year. Shot at multiple locations including the UK, Europe and Turkey, the film is titled The Trojan Horse.

When asked about the makers of the film and who he will be working with, Abbas stated that he cannot reveal much details but the cast and crew is from Hollywood. He mentioned that since international stars are very committed to the kind of roles they sign for, he cannot - for now - confirm who his co-stars will be.

Abbas was also questioned if Pakistani audiences will be seeing less of him now that he's making his way to Hollywood. He replied, "Of course, not. Even when I was working in Bollywood, I did not forget my Pakistani roots. I've reached heights because of the local dramas that I've worked in."

The Dil-e-Muztar actor added, "I will be taking a break from local productions but I will return after my gap as international projects require immense dedication and commitment."

Abbas has starred in various Pakistani dramas such as Mera Naseeb, Khuda Aur Muhabbat and Akbari Asghari amongst many others. He made his Bollywood debut in 2014 opposite Bipasha Basu in Creature 3D.

The talented actor was also nominated for a Filmfare award in the same year for the Best Male Debut category. He later also made a cameo in Karan Johar's film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil alongside Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan.

Abbas added that he would reveal more details about the project in the next month.
