Diners were left in shock after a cooked fish leapt out a plate during their meal in China on Thursday, MailOnline reported.
Footage captured a flatfish seasoned with spring onions and soy sauce, suddenly leapt out of the plate.
Two men can be seen jumping out of their seats as their main course was 'breathing and flips over'.
The video believed to be filmed at a Chinese city, has been uploaded to Youku, a Chinese equivalent of YouTube.

It flicked its tail and wiggled its body before leaping out of the dish onto the table all of a sudden.
The fish's body had cuts at the bottom as it flipped over.
Diners stopped eating and some of them stayed away from the table as they were shocked by the 'zombie' fish.
The case can be explained as the fish was not completely cooked, or there were cells that can still respond to stimuli, though the brain and the heart are not functioning, scientists suggest.
