Imran's lawyer Naeem Bokhari suffers multiple injuries in London

Bokhari is a prominent lawyer joined PTI in 2016, he represented Imran on all disqualification cases

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan's counsel, Naeem Bokhari, suffered multiple injuries including fractured ribs and blows to the head in London, spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry confirmed on Wednesday.

In a tweet, Fawad informed that Bokhari fell on the platform of a London underground station. "Mr Bokhari experienced a fall. This has resulted in an injury to the head, as well fractured ribs," he tweeted.



Fawad also confirmed that Bokhari's condition is stable. Imran's leading lawyer has been on the forefront of all cases filed against the PTI chief.

Bokhari, a prominent lawyer and television host, joined PTI in 2016. He represented Imran in all high-profile disqualification cases in the Supreme Court. He also led the party's legal team for the Panama Papers case against ousted premier Nawaz Sharif.

On April 4, Bokhari apologised to the chief justice on Wednesday for his remarks regarding the latter’s photograph with air hostesses, Express News reported.

During court proceedings in a case being heard by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, PTI member Bokhari offered a verbal apology to the country’s top judge for expressing his reservation on his photo with Pakistan International Airline (PIA) air hostesses.

Recalling his controversial statements from the past, where he had maintained that a lawyer never loses a case but it is the petitioner who loses it, Bukhari said these comments became a topic of media debate last year.
