AIOU to hold moot on childhood development

The conference will have a special focus on children’s well-being

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold the second two-day national conference on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) on Wednesday as part of its efforts to bring neglected sections of society into the educational net.

The conference will have a special focus on children’s well-being.

The event is part of a series of conferences and seminars being arranged by the university on key societal issues.

The event will provide a forum to ECCE stakeholders to share researches, updates, experiences and innovations in the field of early childhood care, development and education. According to the Faculty of Education, the conference aspires to re-conceptualizing the idea of early childhood education keeping in view current practices, challenges and trends at both a national and global level.

Furthermore, it is also aimed at evaluating latest trends and addressing challenges in the field of ECCE.
