Appoints five new federal ministers, one minister of state
ISLAMBAD:
The government on Friday expanded its cabinet by appointing five new federal ministers and a state minister, confirmed a notification from the Prime Minister’s House.
The notification stated that Marvi Memon, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Anusha Rehman, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary as federal ministers and Leila Khan as a state minister. President Mamnoon Hussain administered the oath to the newly appointed ministers.
Hours before budget announcement, Miftah takes oath as finance minister

Earlier in the day, Miftah Ismail was appointed a federal minister ahead of the budget session in National Assembly. While Ismail was given the portfolio for finance Mminister, portfolios for the rest are yet to be decided.
