MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) workers from South Punjab on Sunday demanded party chief Imran Khan not award corrupt leaders party tickets as it taints the image of the entire entity, including those who remain honest.

‘PTI won’t budge an inch’

Addressing the media, PTI senior member Nazim Maqbool Bukhari alleged that MNA Amir Dogar has been involved in electricity theft. “If he is given a party ticket, it will damage the reputation of PTI,” he articulated.

Further, he alleged that Dogar had supported members of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and independent candidates in the previous by-election, as a result of which PTI faced defeat. He demanded PTI’s senior leadership take strict action against Dogar and other such candidates who are insincere with regards to the party.
