Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday said all those who oppose former premier Nawaz Sharif now sit with the former secretary general of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Jahangir Tareen.

Addressing a gathering Hyderabad, Bilawal said he wanted to include the Keti Bander project in CPEC, but Nawaz opposed it. "If our government comes to power, we will bring change," Bilawal promised to supporters. "Defections in the party is saddening. I thought Chung was ideological, but he wasn't," he added.

Bilawal further added that the PPP stands for ideology.

"We want to promote local trees and local plantation. The Indus Delta is being destroyed because the 1991 water accord is not being implemented. This is a big issue because the coastal erosion of Thatta and Badin has increased because we’re not getting water from the upper plains," said the PPP chairman while referring to the environmental issues faced by the region.

"How can I complain to India about water share being decreased, they will say that your own PM does not give water to Sindh?" he said.

The PPP chairman also criticised Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and said that the party has representatives in Sindh but did not deliver on their commitments to the people of Thatta. "Whatever the Sindh government promised, it delivered. Hopefully this time, PPP will win from Thatta as well," Bilawal said further.
