BAHAWALPUR: Two women were killed by their brother in their sleep after he suspected them of having an affair. Uch Sharif resident Nadir shot and killed his sisters Amina, 13 and Rabia 16 after he suspected them of having sexual relations with his close friend. According to the police officials, Nadir shot the girls and handed himself over to the police claiming he had killed the women in the name of honour.  Police officials have registered a case against Nadir and have sent the girl’s bodies to the DHQ hospital for an autopsy. Police officials said that Nadir showed no regret over his actions and had boasted how he planned the murder. “He openly boasted his actions and said that his family had supported him in what he did. He said that he had turned himself over to the police because he wanted people in the neighbourhood to know about what he had done. He said he felt only pride,” said Inspector Farooq .
