A man lost two fingers after his pet snake bit him. Hospital staff at the Khanpur THQ hospital said that Hakim Afzal Mandri was brought in on Saturday morning suffering from a severe snake bite to his hand.
“He told us the snake was his pet. He had been poisoned and we had to amputate his fingers,” said Dr Shahid. The incident occurred while Mandri was bathing in the local canal. According to his family, he was taken to the hospital immediately after the incident.
