Landing In Trouble: PK-582 makes emergency landing

Passengers said they were panic stricken until the plane landed.

RAHIM YAR KHAN: A PK-582 air liner that flew from Rahim Yar Khan (RYK) for Lahore had to make an emergency landing 14 minutes after take off.

Soon after the flight took off from Sheikh Zayed Airport in RYK its left engine malfunctioned and the pilot had to make an emergency landing.

Fire alarms rang on the plane and the flight was bumpy for several minutes.

Passengers said they were panic stricken until the plane landed.

The aircraft was examined and due to unavailability of an alternative aircraft the 48 passengers had to return home until the craft could be repaired.
