FAISALABAD: A protest demonstration was held on Friday after the land allotment for the hostel of MNA Sahibzada Fazal Karim was cancelled.

The protest was held at Jhang bazaar and locals chanted slogans against Punjab law minister Rana Sanaullah.

Hundreds of Sunni Ittehad Council and other religious party workers participated in the rally.

The protesters said that Jamia Rizvia was in need of land as the number of students had increased considerably.

More than one kanal of land had been allotted in this regard.

Sanaullah cancelled the allotment of the land this year.
