“Some elements are trying to level false allegations due to their vested interests,” Farid said, adding that the University’s Board of Trustees was the competent authority to take decisions about the varsity as per its ordinance.

He added that the university has been working to build a strong character of its students while it had signed agreements with more than 60 universities around the world. Furthermore, teachers from different Arab countries were serving in the university. Under development projects of the university are about to be completed while a new strategy for further enhancement of varsity has been evolved, he said.

Moreover, diverse cultures in the University having national cultures is a significant feature of this varsity and makes the institution prominent for intercultural harmony. Saudi Arabia, he said, had awarded more than 300 scholarships to the university’s students. Recently, the Pakistan government released grants for development of the varsity’s infrastructure and has appreciated the university’s performance.
