Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will tell the story of how Prince Harry and Meghan met, and later, got engaged. Some of the highlights include Kate telling Harry that he needs to get married someday. It will also touch upon objections relating to Meghan that, "she is an American and a divorcee." The film will also feature the couple's romantic trip to Botswana, where they befriended a giraffe.
Award-winning Bengali-British director Menhaj Huda is the man behind the film. His TV series The Royals is currently on air, which is based on a fictional Royal family instead of the real one. Menhaj seems to have done a tremendous job with casting as all the main characters bear an uncanny resemblance to their real life counterparts.
Earlier, there were reports that Meghan's ex-husband Trevor Engelson would be producing a show on how an American divorcee marries a British prince. The idea of his show came when he was once in a conversation with producer Dan Farah, where they imagined what would it be like if Meghan and Trevor had had kids. However, there have been no comments from him on the upcoming film, so far.
The reel life Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance will be airing on May 13, 2018, while the real life couple is all set to tie the knot a few days later, on May 19.
