‘Entrepreneurship to boost progress’
Higher Education Commission of Pakistan Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmad emphasizes on investing in entrepreneurship

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) Chairman Dr Mukhtar Ahmad has said investing in the promotion and development of sustainable entrepreneurship was a step in the right direction which would provide impetus to the country’s economic progress. The HEC chairman expressed these views while speaking at an international conference on management and commerce at Hafiz Hayat Campus of the University of Gujrat (UoG) on Wednesday. The two-day conference was organised by the Faculty of Management and Administrative Sciences in collaboration with the HEC. As many as 190 experts, researchers, entrepreneurs and academicians from the US, Australia, France, the UAE, China and Malaysia would share their knowledge and experience at various panel discussions and technical sessions. The conference would also find solution to problems faced by young entrepreneurs in their startups in addition to integration of sustainable ventures in Pakistan’s context.
