Open court held to address health, education issues in Mohmand Agency

Locals in Pindiali Tehsil complain over lack of health facilities in the area

SHABQADAR: In a positive sign of peace and stability returning to Mohmand Agency, an open court was held in the Pindiali Tehsil providing locals with an opportunity to lodge complaints.

The bench comprising political agent Mohmand Agency Hamidur Rahman, additional political agent Lower Mohmand Agency Tauseef Khalid and Tehsildar Younus Khan heard complaints of locals and issued orders to resolve them on Thursday.

Issues pertaining to deputation of staff in Community Health Centre (CHC), educational institutions and construction of Pindiali road were discussed.

The locals complained that despite Pindiali being the largest district of the Mohmand Agency, there were no healthcare centres as the current ones lacked facilities and manpower.

The additional political agent assured the masses that bringing development in the area is the government’s top priority. He added that measure will be taken to ensure provision of healthcare facilities and elimination of educational disparity.
