Several rallies were taken out across Balochistan by the provincial government, Balochistan FC, political and religious parties, civil society and student organisations.
Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, in a video message, congratulated the people of the country on Pakistan Day.
The chief minister said, “We all have to unite against our common enemies and play our due role to evolve Pakistan.”

A majority of people, mostly youngsters, were seen taking to the roads carrying Pakistan flags and dancing to mark the celebrations.
A ceremony to mark Pakistan Day celebrations was also held at Frontier Corps Ghazaband Scouts where children performed on various national songs.
“Following the footsteps of our founding father Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, our elders participated in the Pakistan Movement. We can also lead the country towards progress and prosperity,” said Commandant Ghazaband Colonel Rab Nawaz while addressing the ceremony.
He said, “Today, as Pakistan is grappling with the scourge of terrorism, our brave forces with the support of masses are close to purging terrorism from Pakistan.”
A rally called ‘Long Live Pakistan’ (Pakistan Zindabad Rally) was held in Kuchlak city where a large number of citizens marched on the streets chanting full-throated patriotic slogans.

“March 23, being Pakistan Day, reminds us of the sacrifices our forefathers gave for this country. We have to mark this important day with full courage in order to show the world that we love our country and will not refrain from sacrificing our lives to protect our sacred soil,” said organiser of the Pakistan Day rally Shah Muhammad Nasir.
Nawabzada Siraj Raisani and other political personalities conducted Pakistan Day rallies in Quetta. Jamaatud Dawa conducted a procession at Manan Chowk where a tribute was paid to the people who tabled the Pakistan Resolution in 1940.
Following the celebrations across the country, Pakistan Day rallies and celebrations were held in Mastung, Kalat, Khuzdar, Dalbandin, Chaghi, Gwadar, Turbat, Awaran, Dera Bugti, Kohlu, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Zhob, Ziarat and other towns of Balochistan.
A flag measuring approximately 300x200 feet and 5,577 feet above sea level was raised on Thursday in the Jandarn Ridge area of Kholu district ahead of the Pakistan Day celebrations.
