Team Spirit: Cast of 'Suits' refuses to answer questions about Meghan Markle

Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres were present in Dubai last week for an education summit

The female stars of hit TV show Suits Sarah Rafferty and Gina Torres were recently in Dubai for the Global Education and Skills Forum (GESF) held last week. With the royal wedding just round the corner, questions on their co-star Meghan Markle - soon to be Mrs Prince Harry - were bound to come up.

But when asked about their former co-star, both Torres and Rafferty went mum. Speaking to Ahlan! Magazine, the two actors strategically denied answering any questions related to Markle or her upcoming wedding.

According to the UAE publication, Torres and Rafferty have worked with Markle for many years and hence, know her very well. "It felt weird conducting a Suits interview and not mentioning their co-star," stated Ahlan! Magazine.

Considering the huge amount of interest in the royal wedding, it only made sense that the duo refused to speak of the actor as anything said about her could be taken out of context.

However, with Markle and her on-screen husband Patrick J Adams leaving Suits, Ahlan! questioned Rafferty and Torres about the show's upcoming season.

Torres joked, "I hear it's a musical now!" Rafferty explained, "We still have the same creator and a bunch of the original cast. Suits' die-hard fans can still tune in and enjoy the kind of stories and characters that they're used to. I think we're ready for some fresh energy and stories."

Markle's potential bridesmaid, Priyanka Chopra was also present at the GESF. The three got together for a picture together that Chopra shared on her Instagram handle.
