Ajay Devgn prank makes co-star's wife attempt suicide

Following the incident, the co-star's wife was rushed to the hospital

Bollywood Ajay Devgn is known in the industry for playing pranks on his co-stars. However, sometimes things don't go as per the plan. According to Hindustan Times, Devgn - in an interview - revealed how he once made the wife of his co-star take pills.

Devgn stated that one of his co-stars had gotten married recently and brought his wife along as the shoot was out of town. "The girl wasn't from the film industry and would only meet her in the morning as we were filming at night. We kept telling her that her husband was having an affair and goes off somewhere at night."

The Golmaal actor also told her, "There are no night shoots. I return to my room at 10.30pm." However, she replied to Devgn saying that she had heard about his pranks and that she trusts her husband completely.

"This went on for eight days," added the Ishq star. "One the night day, we learnt that his wife had taken pills and was rushed to the hospital. She had been fighting with her husband over this throughout."


After giving two consecutive successful films, such as Baadshaho and Golmaal Again, Devgn will be next seen in Raid. Set in the 19080s, the story revolves around an honest income tax officer. Ileana D'Cruz and Saurabh Shukla will also be seen in crucial roles.
