QUETTA: An alleged terrorist was killed and four others arrested during intelligence based operations carried out by the Frontier Corps in different parts of Balochistan on Thursday under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces confiscated cache of arms and ammunitions, (including) improvised explosive devices, different types of rounds and explosive material, during raids against suspected hideouts of terrorists.

During the raids, an alleged militant was killed in exchange of fire with security forces and four others were arrested, the ISPR stated, adding that security forces shifted the suspects to an unknown location for interrogation.

Security forces recover large cache of arms, ammunition in South Waziristan

On March 4, security forces were able to recover a large cache of arms and ammunition while clearing minefields laid by terrorists in areas of South Waziristan.

According to ISPR, the drive took place in the Nankae, Raghzae, Chargolai and Gurgurai Zafar Khel areas.

The recovered arms and ammunition included 82mm mortar, light machine guns , RPG-7 guns, sub machine guns,  303 rifles , hand grenades, anti-tank mines.
