A policeman shot and injured three people at General Hospital on Tuesday over an alleged delay in treatment of an injured colleague.

Khan was taken to General Hospital by his colleague Constable Shaukat Masih.

He also took out a gun and allegedly shot at the receptionist, Zeeshan Cheema and a hospital pharmacist, Muhammad Ishhaq. Ishhaq; a visitor, Ali, 17, and his mother Bushra were injured. Masih then fled away.

Kot Lakhpat police have registered an FIR against Masih under Section 324, attempted murder, on the complaint of Haji Qurban, a relative of the injured mother and son.
