Needless to say, Atif Aslam is a huge name in the subcontinent. By now, he has lent his voice to hundreds of Pakistani and Indian songs which garnered him a lot of fame and praises. Not to mention, he's a total heartthrob!
As the singer celebrates his 35th birthday today, here is a list of six times Atif proved that was a true gentleman.
1. To the rescue

In early 2017, Atif was compelled to stop a live performance midway when he spotted a girl being harassed in the crowd. And not only that, he ensured that the young fan was extricated from the spot and admonished the culprit for what he had been doing in front of everyone! Guess chivalry isn't so dead, after all...
2. Fan collaboration
Over a week ago, a video of young boy singing Atif's latest hit Bollywood track Dil Diyan Gallan went viral over social media. The Jal Pari singer spotted young Arshman Naeem singing his song on a local news channel and then shared a clip of Arshman praising him. He also said that he is looking forward to collaborating with the young one soon.
3. Another fan moment
At one of Atif's concert in Dubai last year, a fan jumped over to the stage. She handed a postcard to the Aadat singer that read, "I love you."
Unlike most celebrities who would probably have feared for their security, Atif loved the sweet gesture and showed the fan's postcard to the audience. He then proceeded to give her an autograph and also clicked a picture with the girl, after which she left the stage, smiling.
4. Generation gap?
The Tere Bin singer took to Instagram late last year to share a very adorable photo. At one of his gigs, Atif spotted an elderly man Skype-ing with someone throughout. Upon realising that the man was video-chatting with his granddaughter - who was a fan of Atif's - the singer approached the man and became a part of the grandfather-granddaughter conversation. Atif also captioned the photo, "Take some time out and give a hug to your grand parents."
5. Respect for all
Even though Atif has garnered himself a lot of fame, he has made sure to not let it get the best of him. During Pepsi Battle of the Bands, Atif shared a picture with a young boy working on set giving the same amount of respect, as he would give to another. He captioned the image, "Thank you for working with us my friend. More power to you."
6. Family man
Apart from being an ace musician with a very hectic schedule, Atif is also very involved with his family. He recently shared a picture on Instagram wishing a happy birthday to his son. Atif is also very much in love with his wife and often posts photos of them together.
