A dumper truck overturned and crushed a car in Shiekhupura on Sunday, killing four people, according to reports.
Police said that the truck, loaded with rocks, was trying to overtake the car when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Rescue workers used a crane to lift the truck and pull out the bodies from the wreckage, eye witnesses told the media.
One passenger in the car survived with injuries, and was admitted to the district headquarters hospital in the area. The passengers of the car were returning to Mananwala town from Lahore after attending some ceremony.
Two of the people killed in the accident were councilors of the Mananwala Municipal Committee.
