Seven-year-old boy found ‘hanged’ in Mardan

Motive behind kidnapping and murder remains unclear

PESHAWAR: A body of a seven-year-old child was recovered early Sunday morning from Mardan district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).

Son of a labourer at the Mardan Vegetable Market, Haris was reportedly killed by hanging in Tambulak area.

The family of the victim said Haris was playing outside their house before he went missing.

Police officials said that the body has been moved to the Mardan Medical Complex.

The motive behind kidnapping and murder remains unclear.

In February, a seven-year-old boy was found raped and killed at an under construction building in Karachi. The victim, H*, had gone missing a day before from an area that comes under the jurisdiction of New Town police station. His body was found from an under construction building near his house.
