JUI-F supporting terrorism in Balochistan, says PPP minister

QUETTA: PPP's Parliamentary Leader Mir Sadiq Umrani accused the JUI-F of supporting terrorism in the province.

Speaking during Tuesday's assembly session, Umrani said that the JUI is supporting the Taliban as well as madrassah culture in the province.

The PPP minister staged a walk out along with other PPP members including Sadiq Imrani, Younis Malazai, Jaffar George, Ali Madad Jatak, Agha Irfan and Jan Ali Chingazee.

Umrani reiterated the same during a press conference, later, adding that the JUI was also supporting corruption in the province.

He said that the JUI has formed a parallel government in Balochistan and that the party is spending 60 per cent of the funds on its own organisation and 26 per cent on cemetries. He demanded that the JUI should be seperated from the provincial cabinet.

Real Voice | 13 years ago | Reply @Changez Khan: The comment is absolutely baseless. How come, JUI, which has an excellent track record of playing imp role in politics of Pakistan can support terrorism. Well, every one knows the real role of Sadiq Umrani during the floods. On the one hand he distributed cheques to the affectees, and his cronies used to take back the cheque after the photo session. If there is any proof of supporting terrorism or corruption, then PPP should come out clear with a charge sheet. If not, then Umrani should stop with his rhetoric and mind his own business.
