Quality education need of the hour: UoT professor

UFM chairman says right time for social development

QUETTA: University of Turbat (UoT) Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Dean and Unfair Means (UFM) Committee Chairman Prof Dr Abdul Saboor Baloch has said that the society can develop and secure a place in the lane of developed nations only by acquiring quality education with zeal and commitment.

“Both main campuses – Turbat and Gwadar – of UoT from the start are leaving no stone unturned for the promotion of quality education in the best interest of the people of the region,” said Dr Baloch while presiding over a meeting of the UFM Committee on Thursday.

Turbat University launches two scholarship programmes

The UFM Committee meeting discussed and resolved cases related to BA/BSc Annual Examinations 2017 held under the auspices of the UoT.

Controller Examinations Tanvir Ahmed, Commerce Department Chairman and ORIC Director Abdul Majid Nasir and Assistant Controller Examinations Shahid Khalid were in attendance.

The UFM Committee chairman said, “It is the era of knowledge and education and now it is the need of the time to acquire quality education with commitment to bring our society at par with a developed and prosperous one.”
