Cotton: Sowing completed on 28% area in Sindh

Sindh has so far achieved 28 per cent of the cotton cultivation target while sowing has increased by 164 per cent as compared to the same period last year, stated Cotton Development Commissioner in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Khalid Abdullah.


He said on Monday that the province has cultivated cotton over 183,000 hectares of land against the target of about 650,000 hectares.
