1,000 inmates enrolled at AIOU

MULTAN: Over 1,000 prisoners are studying at the Allama Iqbal Open University, said Vice Chancellor Prof Shahid Siddique. He was speaking at a meeting of regional directors. He said that the government had announced education free-of-charge for inmates across the country. The admission forms and books have been dispatched to the prisons, he added.
