Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb says today marks a historic day for Pakistan as the Senate elections are being held on time

Also taking a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan she said his own workers won’t vote for the party.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Marriyum said she’s appalled by the development of Nawaz Sharif being ousted as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief.

Marriyum reiterated that Nawaz will win every election he contests and the nation will support him through and through. “Those who leave Nawaz today will see that their political careers destroyed.”

Commenting on Imran, Marriyum said that PTI workers will not vote for their own party and Imran Khan is yet to respond to the SC over the fake NOC he produced over the construction of his residence in Bani Gala. She further added saying that the PTI chief must stop accusing the PML-N of horse trading.
