FC conducts operation in Balochistan

The Balochistan Frontier Corps conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kabu, Mustung, Sanjavi, Duki and Doiwad, Dera Bugti areas of the province as part of the ongoing Raddul Fasaad campaign, the army's media wing confirmed on Thursday.

A huge cache of arms and ammunition including suicide jackets, RPG rockets, sub-machine guns, mines, explosivse, detonators was recovered. Yesterday, the FC conducted an IBO on suspected terrorist hideouts in Chaman, Sibi, Uch and Kohlu areas of Balochistan.



Earlier, 20 suspected militants were nabbed by the force. RPGs, sub-machine guns, sniper rifles, laptops and communication equipment were also seized. Operation Raddul Fasaad or the Elimination of Discord was launched in February last year after a sharp uptick in terrorist attacks nationwide.
