A special prosecutor for the Rangers argued that the accused had killed the provincial assembly candidate belonging to a rival political group in a clash on May 9, 2013 in Landhi. The prosecutor informed the court that three people were killed in the armed clash. Strongly opposing the request for bail, the prosecutor pleaded to the court to reject the same.
The judges questioned how an accused involved in a murder could be released on bail and dismissed the bail application.
