One terrorist was killed while 11 suspects were apprehended as Frontier Corps (FC) conducted operations in different areas of Balochistan.

"FC Balochistan conducted IBOs [intelligence based operations] in Quetta , Sherazi/Sanny Sibi and Khahan areas of Balochistan," said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement on Saturday.

"Cache of arms and ammunition including RPG rockets, sub-machine guns, mines, explosives and ammunition recovered," the military's media wing added.

The raids were part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad, a military offensive launched in February 2017 against the “latent threat of terrorism.”

On February 18,  FC arrested five suspected terrorists and recovered weapons from their possession during several IBOs in different areas of the province.

The raids were carried out in Bostan, Dera Murad Jamali, Sibi , Pishin, Lehri and Chattar areas.
