The commissioner gave these directions on Friday during a visit to the site of the under-construction gird station where officials of Water and Power Development Authority and Quetta Electricity Supply Company briefed him on the progress.

He was informed that work on the grid station had been expedited to compete it before summer which would start in March.
Commissioner Jamali directed the officials concerned to take all-out steps for the early completion of the project to give relief to the people of Naseerabad and Jaffarabad districts during the summer.
Jamali also held open court in Dera Murad Jamali and received complaints from the people. The people, including men and women, apprised the commissioner about the problems they were facing in health, education, water supply and other departments.
Jamali assured them that provincial government would resolve their problems. “We are making efforts to provide basic amenities to the people at their doorstep,” Jamali said.
