“I am really impressed by the young players in my team,” said McCullum. “They have a lot of potential and, after some practice sessions with them, I can safely say that we will make it tough for Sultans.”

McCullum promised they won’t be complacent against the new entrants. “They are new to the competition but they have players who are experienced and will be exciting to play against. We will have to be at our best against them,” he added.
Lahore finished last in the previous two editions of the PSL, but with the inclusion of last season’s top-wicket taker Sohail Khan and batsmen like Fakhar Zaman they are surely looking to end PSL3 on a better spot.

Qalandars revamped their coaching staff and were the first to reach Dubai, and Fakhar thinks spending time as a team will help them.
“We have been practicing in Pakistan and here too,” said Zaman. “We have some big names with us and we’ve developed a good bonding. It will be fun to face debutants Multan Sultans and see what they have brought to this edition.”
