Crime: House burgled; car stolen

Police registered a case against unidentified culprits and started investigations.

A house was burgled and a car was stolen from a parking lot in separate incidents on Friday from the limits of Sadiqabad Police Station.


In the first incident, four armed men broke into a house in Sadiqabad on late Friday night and looted cash, jewellery, and other valuables at gun point. Nasreen Ashraf lodged a report with the police that she was at her house with her family, when four armed men broke into her house and looted four gold bangles, two sets of earrings, Rs5,000 in cash and other valuables after tying her family members with ropes. The police registered a case against unidentified culprits and started investigations.

Meanwhile, a car was stolen from a parking lot in Muslim Town area on Friday. Muhammad Safdar lodged a report with the same police that he parked his Suzuki Mehran (AEB-315) in a parking lot in the Muslim Town area and went for work.

On his return he found the car missing. The police registered a case and started searching for the car.
