New York was abuzz with fashionistas last week as the biggest event of the year, New York Fashion Week was underway. Our very own Ayesha Omar attended the event as Maybelline’s spokesperson where she was spotted with many global icons and celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Paris Hilton and The Outcasts actor Jasmine Sanders. The Bulbulay star also visited the content studio of the brand and met with the global team as a representative from Pakistan.
Fawad Khan all set to make web series debut
Pakistan’s favourite heartthrob Fawad Khan who is currently filming for the much-anticipated remake of Maula Jutt is all set to surprise his fans with a new project. Khan has reportedly said yes to several web series and will soon star in a five-episode online family drama, according to Deccan Chronicle. We can’t wait to see him on screen again

Third time’s the charm for Imran Khan
PTI Chairman, Imran Khan tied the khot for the third time to his spiritual healer, Bushra Wattoo. Rumours of Khan and Wattoo’s marriage were rife since January 3 and many media oulets reported that Khan has contracted his third marriage with a woman he used to visit for spiritual guidance. Pictures of the private ceremony were released by the PTI media wing. We wish the couple a happy and blissful marriage!
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux part ways after two years of marriage
We’re heartbroken by the news of Friends’ star Jennifer Aniston and her husband Justin Theroux’s separation after two years of marriage. The famed couple got married in a secret ceremony in 2015 after being together for nearly seven years. They haven’t yet given a reason for their split but as per rumours Aniston was seen with Brad Pitt and the two might be getting back together. “We are two best friends who have decided to part ways as a couple, but look forward to continuing our cherished friendship,” read a joint statement by the couple.
Indonesian designer Vivi Zubedi unveils all-abaya collection at NYFW
With the growing demand of modest Muslim fashion around the world, many Muslim designers are venturing into this industry. Vivi Zubedi is an upcoming Indonesian designer who made her solo runway debut with an all-abaya collection at New York Fashion Week. Her collection incorporated contemporary designs from crystal-embossed materials to ruffled detailing and a daring black leather jacket zipped up on top of an abaya. WOOAH!
