Tragic end: Teenage boy killed as roof caves in

The incident occurred due to overburden of building material dumped at rooftop of house

MULTAN: A 13-year-old boy died while six other family members sustained injuries when the roof of a room caved in at their house in Fazal Model Colony on Old Bahawalpur Road on Sunday. According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred due to overburden of building material which was dumped at the rooftop of the house. As a result, Zain, son of Rafique, died on the spot while Nusrat, wife of Nasir, Makki, son of Akhtar, Rozina Nasir, Sonia and Iqra Hanif suffered injuries. The injured were shifted to Nishtar hospital.
