Education moot: Use research as tool for societal transformation

Academics called for developing connectivity and collaborative partnership to achieve excellence in educational sector

ISLAMABAD: Academics on Saturday pledged to use academic research as a tool for transforming the society.

This pledge was made as the third international conference on education concluded at the Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Saturday. The conference had been arranged by the university's Faculty of Education.

As many as 18 working sessions were held during the conference in which more than 120 research papers were presented.

Academics called for developing connectivity and collaborative partnership beyond the boundaries in order to achieve excellence in the educational sector.

They also underlined the need of the deliberating upon the educational challenges through a shared vision.
