Cops As Robbers: ASI and SI steal marijuana

BAHAWALNAGAR: An assistant superintendent (ASI) and sub inspector were arrested for stealing charas from the Maal Khana.

According to City Police station officials, Bahawalnagar Police took 33 kg of charas that belonged to accused Zafar Bhoota after he bribed them.

The police officials placed soap bars instead of charas to fill up the bags in the police stock room.

Bahawalnagar DPO Salman Ali Khan issued orders that the Maal Khana in-charge ASI Siddique and sub-inspector Manzoor be arrested. Rs100,000 and 19 kg of charas were recovered from the accused.
